The Dark Side of Selfless Giving: Accountability and Kindness

Says the religions that banish the scapegoats from the villages to carry away their guilt.

“Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.”

Say those who want to avoid having done to them the abuse they perpetrate unto others.

“Give them the benefit of the doubt.”

Says the enabler of poor behavior.
